How Does the Process Work?

1. Share Your Ideas

Please share as much detail as possible about what you would like included in your painting, such as colours, composition, specific details, and any of my previous work that you especially love.

Please also let me know which canvas size you have in mind.

Once I have your details, I’ll also provide an estimated shipping cost.

2. Colour Sketch

Using the information you provide, I’ll create a colour sketch for you to review.

You’ll have the opportunity to approve the direction before I begin the final painting.

3. 50% Deposit

Once the colour sketch has been approved, a 50% deposit is required before I begin painting your commission.

4. Final Approval

When your painting is complete, I’ll send you photographs of the finished artwork for your final approval.

5. Final Payment & Preparation

Once you’re happy with the finished painting, I’ll allow it to fully dry and carefully prepare it for shipping.

At this stage, the remaining 50% balance and the agreed shipping cost will be due.

6. Shipping

Your finished painting will be carefully packed and shipped to you.

How Long Does It Take?

The full commission process takes approximately one month.

When you submit your enquiry, I’ll let you know the earliest available start date for your commission.
